Terms of Service
Last updated: July 5, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of the DinePilot platform (DinePilot), including the staff mobile app, web API, customer QR ordering pages, and marketing website. By using DinePilot, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
DinePilot provides software for restaurants to manage dine-in operations: QR table ordering, kitchen workflow, table management, billing, and analytics. Features may change over time. During early access, the service may be offered free of charge; paid plans may be introduced later with notice.
2. Accounts and eligibility
- Restaurant accounts are created by DinePilot or authorized onboarding — there is no public self-signup for production tenants in the current release.
- Each staff member must use credentials issued by their restaurant's owner. You are responsible for keeping login details confidential.
- You must provide accurate restaurant and business information and comply with applicable laws (including food safety, tax, and consumer protection rules in your jurisdiction).
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for unlawful purposes or to process fraudulent orders or payments.
- Attempt to access another restaurant's data or bypass security or role restrictions.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the platform except as permitted by law.
- Upload malicious code or content that infringes third-party rights.
4. Customer ordering
QR ordering pages are provided for your restaurant's customers. You are responsible for menu accuracy, pricing, allergens, and fulfilling orders placed through DinePilot. Customer-facing pages display your restaurant branding and data; DinePilot is not the merchant of record for food and beverage sales.
5. Fees and payments
Subscription or usage fees, if any, will be described separately. Recorded in-app payments (cash, card, UPI) reflect transactions handled at your restaurant; DinePilot does not process card or UPI settlements on your behalf in the current version unless explicitly integrated later.
6. Intellectual property
DinePilot software, branding, and documentation are owned by DinePilot. You retain ownership of your restaurant content (menus, logos, order data). You grant us a limited license to host and process that content solely to provide the service.
7. Availability and support
We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance windows or force-update requirements may apply to the staff app. Support is available via our contact page.
8. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, non-payment (when applicable), or legal requirements. See our Delete account page for data removal requests.
9. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" to the maximum extent permitted by law. We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. You use DinePilot at your own risk for operational decisions at your restaurant.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DinePilot is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or INR 10,000 if no fees were paid.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in India shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protection rules in your locality where applicable.
12. Changes
We may modify these Terms. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated where reasonably practicable.
